A walk from the pretty town of Talgarth with its water mill and market square through fields, woods and secluded valleys to the lonely church at Llanelieu. Then on to the moor below the Black Mountains and above Witches' Pool, before descending beside the old drover's road back to Talgarth.
DIRECTIONS TO START
From CRiC, take the A40 towards Brecon. At the Nantyffin Cider Mill pub, turn right on the A479 signposted Builth Wells. Keep straight on this road, past Tretower, Cwmdu and Pengenffordd and descend to the roundabout on the outskirts of Talgarth. Take the third exit into the car park.
