Sole Survivor

Distance Challenge

Sole Survivor - the Results

Congratulations to all who took part in the Challenge. Impressive walking all round, but unfortunately there can only be one winner, which is interesting as we seem to have conjured up a dead heat Who’d have thought people would walk in pairs.

So many congratulations to Val and Rob Rogers on a fantastic effort, both walking all 9 days to accumulate 177.8km.

Prize presentation will be arranged with you and hopefully one of you needs new boots more than the other so you can amicably agree who that is. If it helps, we’ll find a little something for the the other party.

THE SOLE SURVIVOR COMPETITION

This year we will be running a new competition with the challenge being to walk the most km when participating in the Festival Walks Programme. Each walk you book and complete contributes to your cumulative total.

The prize for the greatest cumulative number of km walked is a pair of SCARPA MORAINE MID PRO GTX

MORAINE MID PRO GTX the upper is made of Oiled Nubuck Idro and mesh. Comfortable right from the first fit. Technicality is guaranteed by a Gore-Tex Blusign membrane that guarantees waterproofing, and by the RECCO system for traceability in case of rescue.
